Avril Lavigne surprises NFL player who was singing her song while training
Avril Lavigne is showing some love for one of her biggest fans: San Francisco 49ers player George Kittle.
On Wednesday, the Canadian singer-songwriter shared a video on Twitter — originally posted by NFL Canada — of a virtual appearance she made during a 49ers game to surprise the football player who was clearly overcome with joy.
"Oh hey there George, it's your friend Avril Lavigne from Canada, eh," Lavigne said to Kittle.
"I'm just going to grab a pop and sit down on the chesterfield now. You guys have a good game, eh."

Lavigne's surprise came after a video was shared to social media of Kittle pumping himself up for a training session while singing her ever-popular and much loved hit, Sk8er Boi.
Kittle just so happened to be "mic'd up" during this impromptu performance.

Many online shared their love for Kittle's rendition of the song and made sure to tag Lavigne in their comments.
