This is what a $550K home looks like in cities across Canada
According to Statista, the median house price in Canada is forecasted to hit $531,000 this year. A decade ago, the average price of a Canadian home was just under $350,000.
This kind of makes me wish there was a time machine so I could go purchase an average house in 2010.
But for those of you who are considering purchasing an average house in Canada this year here's what you can get for $550,000 in cities across the great white north.
As far as conventional homes go, you'd be hard pressed to find one in Vancouver for $550K. However, if you're willing to be a bit more flexible and you don't get sea-sick this 1,782 square-foot home is a beauty! It was re-built from the "float" up in 2010.
