Vancouver drowns out anti-gay preacher David Lynn with a Lady Gaga dance party
People in Vancouver were not up for listening to an anti-gay preacher on Monday night.
Instead, a huge dance party took place in the city's west end neighbourhood to drown out preacher David Lynn's speech as Lady Gaga's Born This Way blared on Beach Avenue.

City councillor Pete Fry took to Twitter to share video footage of the scene.

Anti-gay street preacher David Lynn hails from Toronto and is the founder of Christ's Forgiveness Ministries. HIn the past he has preached to passersby with loudspeakers in Toronto's gay village.
He is currently on a cross-Canada tour with the organization in order to "preach repentence and the kingdom of God" Lynn said in a promotional video.

This comes just over a week after a man suffered a broken leg following a confrontation with anti-LGBTQ+ protestors also in Vancouver.
