A bear just walked through the front door of one of Canada's most expensive hotels
This black bear was just looking for a little vacation time.
A hotel security camera at the Four Seasons Resort in Whistler, B.C. caught footage of a curious black bear entering the hotel lobby in the early hours of the morning on July 13.
The bear can be seen wandering about for a short time while checking out some of the hotel's furniture before turning around and heading out the way it came.

"The manager on duty saw the new guest right away and was able to safely escort the bear out of the building. No guests encountered the animal on the property," Chelan Goonetilleke, director of marketing for the restort told CBC.
He added that the unusual guest has not returned since.
Many on social media took the opportunity to poke fun at the incident with some admittedly clever bear puns and jokes.
I guess its previous accomodations were unbearable. 😄

"You ubear is here," another person wrote.

On a more serious note, others noted the increasing number of bear sightings around B.C. recently.
What’s up with the bears......we have had several in the past week in our community roaming neighborhoods also .....some say it’s short age of berries but that’s been normal before......very strange happenings since Covid....🙏🇨🇦❤️

This comes just days after another black bear tapped the leg of a runner in Coquitlam and a couple of weeks after yet another was euthanized.
