Canada Post named most trusted brand during pandemic but not everyone agrees
During the course of lockdown and the COVID-19 pandemic, receiving mail has been the root of much frustration for many Canadians.
Over the past three months, Canada Post has been widely criticized for huge delays – which is probably why many people are surprised to find out that the organization was voted the number one trusted brand during the pandemic.
A new study conducted by the University of Victoria's Gustavson Brand Trust Index surveyed 1,050 Canadians to find out about how much they trusted well known national brands amid lockdown.
Canada Post topped the poll, with Shoppers Drug Mart, CTV and Costco following behind.
Despite the clear results, many people didn't seem to agree with the study's findings.
So Canada Post is the most reliable company during the COVID-19 pandemic. I do not agree.

Although most parts of the country have now started to proceed with their reopening process, customers are still experiencing a slower than usual service.
Is Canada Post even delivering packages anymore or have they given up? My order's apparently been sitting in a warehouse 20 minutes away since June 1st and at this point I wish they'd just let me come get it myself

Even express shipping orders are still being delivered at a much slower rate.
Canada Post really has me livid today. Like what was the purpose of me paying for express shipping if my shit still isn’t here! @canadapostcorp

To give them some credit, Canada Post delivered more than 1.8 million parcels on a single day in April, and the company experienced record levels of demand during lockdown.
At the other end of the poll, Facebook, Craigslist and Snapchat were found to be the least-trusted brands in the country.
