Burger King adds KD Bites to the menu and Canadians are already obsessed

KD Bites at Burger King might be the comfort food combination Canadians didn't know they needed.

Mac and cheese giants Kraft Dinner (KD) has teamed up with Burger King to create a new snack food that's exactly what it sounds like: creamy mac and cheese covered in a crispy coating.

"We are taking an iconic Canadian dish and adding an innovative twist on it that we know our guests will love," said Nicholas Hansen, manager of marketing execution at Burger King Canada.

KD Bites will be sold from participating restaurants in packs of six.

Judging by social media reaction, the bite-sized snacks are already a huge hit with Canadian customers.

"We are really excited about this collaboration between Kraft Dinner and Burger King," said Daniel Gotlib, associate director of brand building and innovation at Kraft Heinz Canada.

"With snacking occasions on the rise, we saw an opportunity to bring these two iconic brands together to give our KD fans a new and delicious way to enjoy their favourite, one-of-a-kind cheesy taste in an ultimate snacking, bite-size format."

But be warned; KD Bites are available for a limited time only, so you'll have to act fast if you want to get your hands on a pack from select Burger King locations or through Uber Eats, Skip the Dishes and DoorDash.
