ikea valentines dinner

IKEA is offering three-course Valentine's Day dinners across Canada

If you're one of those people that loves spending any and every day in the furniture haven that is IKEA, perhaps you'll be glad to hear that you can celebrate Valentine's Day there too.

That's right. The beloved Swedish store is hosting a Valentine's Day dinner for two at locations across the country.

The event will (obviously) take place on February 14 and start times vary by location.

The affordable three-course meal will offer soup or salad as a starter and a choice between three different main courses.

Customers will get to choose between meatballs with bacon and herb-infused mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and lingonberry sauce; glazed salmon, cauliflower purée, marinated vegetables and Nordic shrimp; and veggie balls with ratatouille, mixed vegetables topped with gremolata and parmesan crisps.

For dessert, you and your date can choose between cheesecake or chocolate cake.

One ticket also comes with a glass of wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage including coffee, tea and fountain drinks.

Regular tickets cost $34.99 while children can eat for only $3.49 and IKEA family members only pay $29.99.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at an IKEA Restaurant Check-out starting January 20.
