Halle Berry is quarantining in Montreal to film a new movie and fans are excited

If you live in Montreal, you might just be able to catch a glimpse of Halle Berry filming her new movie - after quarantine, that is.

Earlier this week, the actress took to Instagram to share a snap of her picture-perfect view of the city in which you can see Mount Royal in the background. Alongside the photo, Berry simply wrote, "Hello Montreal" with a Canadian flag emoji.

While it's not confirmed, some have speculated she is staying at the Roccabella condos on Boulevard Rene-Levesque based on her surroundings.

In the comments below the photo, the former Catwoman star explained that she is currently in quarantine and trying to make the best of being stuck inside.

"I assume you're here for work...do you still have to quarantine for 14 days?" someone asked.

In response, Berry wrote, "Had a negative test but yea, I'm in quarantine right now!!! Tyrna live my best life while doing so."

Many of Berry's Montreal fans took the opportunity to welcome her to the city.

"Enjoy my city," one person wrote.

"Welcome Halle! Hope you always enjoy our city," another commenter added.

Berry is in Canada to work on a new sci-fi movie called Moonfall that follows a space crew who travels to the moon after it's been struck by an asteroid. The movie, which is expected to wrap early next year, also stars Patrick Wilson and Stanley Tucci

This is not the actress' first time in Montreal. In fact, Berry owned a vacation home here before putting it on the market for $1.9 million back in 2011.
