Obama just released his summer playlist and Drake made the cut
Former president Barack Obama just dropped his summer playlist, and several of the 50-plus songs are performed by a few familiar faces that originally come from Canada.
On Monday, Obama casually dropped his playlist of catchy summer tunes in a Tweet.
"Over the past few months, I've spent a lot of time listening to music with my family," he wrote. "I wanted to share some of my favorites from the summer."
Over the past few months, I’ve spent a lot of time listening to music with my family. I wanted to share some of my favorites from the summer—including songs from some of the artists at this week’s @DemConvention. Hope you enjoy it. pic.twitter.com/2ZFwdN46jR

Obama's summer tunes include Ontario-raised musician PARTYNEXTDOOR and Saskatchewan singer Andy Shauf.
The former U.S. President also included two tracks featuring Drake, because what good playlist doesn't have at least one track by the beloved Toronto rapper?
Summer might be drawing to a close, but fortunately, there's still a few more weeks of warm weather to enjoy a socially-distanced picnic in the park accompanied by Obama's summer playlist.
