Movie theatres in Canada are starting to reopen
Moviegoers, rejoice! At least one theatre in Canada is reopening its doors this week to welcome patrons back to a new kind of experience.
The Vic Theatre in Victoria, B.C. is set to become the first movie theatre to reopen in Canada this Friday after months of closure.

Not surprisingly, guests can expect a few changes, meant to ensure the health and safety of everyone, including signage, Plexiglass barriers, enhanced cleaning and reduced capacity.
The 250-seat theatre will allow only 50 guests at a time, with empty seats between them. They're also encouraged to purchase tickets and snacks beforehand. The snacks will be placed at their assigned seats.
The theatre is allowed to reopen as part of Phase 2 of British Columbia's Restart Plan, which lets more business and services —able to meet the criteria set out by the province — safely reopen.
The Vic is set to kick things off with a screening of A Trip To Greece, followed by Lost in Paris and finishing with The World Before Your Feet.
