Justin Bieber and Avril Lavigne join Canadian artists for epic rendition of Lean on Me
More than two dozen Canadian artists worked together to create and perform a touching rendition of Lean on Me on last night's Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble broadcast.
The performance, which took place near the end of the show, featured artists including Justin Bieber, Michael Buble, Bryan Adams, Fefe Dobson, Avril Lavigne, Sarah McLachlan, Jann Arden, Tyler Shaw, Johnny Orlando, Walk off the Earth, The Tenors and more.
The rendition was thought up by musicians Tyler Shaw and Fefe Dobson as a way to honour the late Bill Withers, share the lyrical message of the song and raise funds for the Canadian Red Cross.
The song has now been released onto various streaming platforms through the new collective artist initiative ArtistsCAN, and all proceeds will be going to the Canadian Red Cross to help fight the pandemic.
Man, how are Canadians so talented AND goodlooking?? 🇨🇦😍
