The Bachelorette contestants were just revealed and two are from Canada
Clear your Monday night schedule; ABC has officially dropped The Bachelorette 2020 contestants, and two of them are from Canada.
After a dramatic season of Pilot Peter navigating love, family feuds and #champagnegate, it's now 38-year-old Clare Crawley's turn to hand out the roses. The California hairstylist will have her pick of 32 men.
Among the contestants?
Twenty-nine-year old Blake Moynes from Hamilton, Ontario.
Moynes is already getting plenty of love on social media, with one fan calling him a "big teddy bear."
"[He] looks so sweet and charming," one woman wrote. "He's my top pick already!"
The second Canadian to score a spot on the reality TV show is 38-year-old Mike Tobin from Calgary, Alberta.
If Tobin looks familiar, it's for good reason — the Calgarian achieved viral Internet fame in 2018 after sitting in the wrong section at the women’s hockey gold medal game at the PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games.
His grumpy expression as the American crowd erupted into cheers is truly meme-worthy.
As you might expect, the Canadian tuxedo-clad contestant is getting lots of love on social media too, with many people comparing him to American singer Thomas Rhett.
Season 16 of The Bachelorette premieres May 18.
