Degrassi teen-turned-global superstar Drake is reportedly getting cozy with Kylie Jenner, the Kardashian sibling and beauty industry billionaire behind the smash hit "Hhhrise and Shine."

People Magazine just declared that previous rumours of the pair's romantic involvement are true, citing multiple unnamed sources.

"He and Kylie have been spending time together recently," said one of said mysterious (and who knows how reliable?) sources to People on Wednesday. "They've been friends for a long time and Drake is very close to the family."

I can confirm: Kylie's mom, Kris Jenner, once called Drake in an episode of her reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Kylie's brother-in-law, rapper Kanye West, confirmed on Twitter last December that Drake and Kris text regularly. Drake even gave Kris a shoutout on his track "4PM in Calabasas."

It is, in fact, quite possible that the brilliant matriarch of the Kardashian Klan is orchestrating this entire Drake-Kylie situation. It wouldn't be the first time she pimped out a daughter for publicity.

A "source close to Drake" told Us Weekly that the pair are not an official item, but another source (who may or may not be Kris Jenner) maintains otherwise.

"Kylie and Drake's friendship did take a romantic turn recently," said the source to Us. "At his Halloween party, they were affectionate and clearly there together. They've been seeing each other romantically. He also showed up to Kendall [Jenner]'s birthday."

The duo first made waves in late October when Kylie, who recently split with rapper Travis Scott, was spotted getting flirty with Drake at his birthday party in Los Angeles.

This wasn't the first time they'd partied together, either.

The 33-year-old rapper performed at the now 22-year-old reality star's Sweet 16 birthday party in 2013, back when she had a different face.

It is not known if any "romantic" DMs have been exchanged since, but it's clear that they know each other pretty well.

Drake has collaborated not only with West, but with Kylie's now ex-boyfriend Travis Scott.

The couple remain on good terms as they collaborate on the raising of their young daughter, Stormi.
